Are you using your strengths?
Strengths Use At Work and Life Scale
One of the most effective and rapid measures of job satisfaction, and life, is whether or not you are using your strengths. You can look at this as: “The genie doesn’t like to stay in the bottle.”
Try this brief survey that can help you see if your strengths are being used in various situations. While the overall score is meaningful, what may help you even more is to note which of the 14 questions rank lowest for you, and how relevant this is to your situation. As always, actively thinking about your situation is helpful.
If you’re not sure what your strengths are, contact me and I can send you some links to surveys on strengths.
